Is there any type of food you prefer? And what do you consider to be not expensive?

Montrealtraveler likes Italian, and maybe, nothing that would go over 50$ us for the meal ( wine included )

50 USD is a challenge for two persons with wine.

Try CARA MIA or AMARONE on Ninth Avenue in the 40%26#39;s north of 42nd Street.

Both competent food and good value.

The 50 USD is an aggressive target.
