I will be travelling to Edinburgh, Scotland from Feb 25, 2006 - March 2, 2006. Could anyone provide any info on where to stay that is resonable, what to do, weather etc.??

It%26#39;s a great city, you%26#39;ll have loads of fun. You might want to post your query on the Edinburgh forum though.

Hi
Just got back from a cheapie weekend in Edinburgh. It is a beautiful city.
We stayed in the Priemere Travel Inn, Morrison Street. Very clean and central.
Have fun and if your budget runs to it, have a meal in the Witchery on the Royal Mile.
Hi there i from Edinburgh, It would depend on your budget?, We hav the Balmoral and the Scotsman both are excellent hotels with great views over princess street, You could also try a hotel called Langs who have very trendy and up to date rooms and facilities like playstation 2 and internet access in your room, All the best
I stayed at Blacket Garden Flat which is a B%26amp;B on the outskirts of Edinburgh - about 20 minutes walk but there are regular buses - Isobel the owner was lovely and the breakfast%26#39;s were to die for!!! You didn%26#39;t need to eat again until later in the evening after one of them! It was about 拢60 for the night I think - http://www.blacketgardenflat.com/
She only has two rooms so it%26#39;s nice and quiet too :)
Travelgirlnyc. I do not know if you will be travelling with others or just yourself but have a look at the likes of the Apartment By Castle. It is beside Edinburgh Castle and just a few metres away are the likes of the Camera Obscura, Scottish Whisky Heritage centre, The Tartan Weaving Centre, the Writers Museum plus numerous other places of interest and historic buildings are within walking distance with no need to get or wair on a bus. Look up any places you may wish to stay at on the tripadvisor reviews and from that you can see what is nearby.
The weather in February can be cold but not as cold as you can get in NYC.
