New York in march

Hello,

We are making plans to visit (first time) New York at the last week of march 2006. Is this a time to expect winter-weather?; and what is your opion about the Milford Plaza; We want to do the tourist top 10.

March is a variable month, can be cold %26amp; snowy or very lovely, it is the luck of the draw.

Many of the locals here don%26#39;t like The Milford Plaza but I know quite a few visitors who have stayed there and liked it a lot. I would read the reviews on TA to get a sense, disregarding the best and the worst and see what the concensus is. The location is great, by the way.

I would also check into the Belvedere, in the same general area and it gets overall excellent reviews.

Agree with NYCgirl. For last week in March, you can do much better than the Mildew Plaza imo. In addition to the Belvedere, check the Salisbury. Actually, what I%26#39;d do is book something now that%26#39;s cancellable and wait til Jan/Feb for posted specials on travelzoo.com That time of year there should be ';deals'; at some of the nicer hotels. ;)

The average temperature for the last week of March in NYC is a high of 12 C during the day and a low of 4 C at night but as already stated it could be much higher or lower.
