My girlfriend and I would like to go to a cinema during our trip. Can anyone recommend a cinema that shows %26#39;blockbuster movies%26#39;, rather than independent (similar to a UCI/Odeon in the UK)?

Just out of curiosity, why would you fly all the way here to see a movie? I wouldn%26#39;t waste two hours in London in the cinema. If you want a big screen, make sure you go to the Zeigfeld, IMAX or other smaller, non-multiplex theatre.

Lol, I know it sounds mad, but I guess we just want to chill out for a couple of hours and put our feet up (we%26#39;re planning to go to the cinema near the end of our stay, when we%26#39;ve done most of the sight-seeing).

I think it would be soo cool to see a movie in New York, especially when your coming from the Uk. Personally i didn%26#39;t think about it when i went,but i live in the US.

I mean the US is known for the moviemaking business and all.

p.s what exactly is a UCI/ODEON?

UCI or Odeon are the main cinema companies in the UK (actually, I think Odeon has recently bought UCI). Most movie premiers in the UK are at the Odeon cinema in Leicester Square, London.
