Transfer from Newark to Grand Hyatt

I am travelling to New York on Thursday with my wife.

We are flying into Newark Airport and are staying at the Grand Hyatt.

Whats the best way to get from the airport to our Hotel?

My boyfriend and I are doing the same thing-- but we%26#39;re flying in NEXT Thursday! We decided to just book a Super Shuttle as our transportation from Newark to the Grand Hyatt.

Transfer from Newark to Grand Hyatt

NO,NO, NO to the Super shuttle. Waste of time. Cheapest, fastest, easiest way from Newark to Grand Hyatt is the Newark Liberty Airport Express bus to

Grand Central Terminal

(120 East 41st Street)

(877) 8-NEWARK

(908) 354-3330

Fare $13 One-Way, $22.00 Round Trip,

Free for Kids

The Hyatt is a block away from where the bus stops. Here are other options

You could also take the train which might be faster but more changes. With this bus, you get on and get off right near your hotel.

would prefer door to door i.e Taxi etc

what would that cost?

taxi should cost about $50+tip+toll, go to the taxi line, dispatcher will tell you the price and give you a printout. DO NOT take a ride from people offering you one. OR call one of the car services once you get you luggage in hand (or once you get out of customs) I usually do that and never wait more than 10 min, usually they are there by the time I get to the door.

Carmel%26#39;s number is 1-800-9-carmel (i usually use them, but all the othres are find too)

Just do not take a ride from someone claiming to be a limo driver - call one

Al

Carmel car service charges $43 during the day and $50 after 8 pm. They have a $5 off coupon on the website

Add toll and tip. Nothing fancy but you%26#39;ll get there.
