Newton Hotel

I did last November - good budget hotel, nothing fancy but clean and in a nice location. The subway is right outside the hotel which takes you direct to Time Square in about 10 minutes.

Anything else you want to know?

No it%26#39;s about 10/15 minutes on the subway from the main shops. Macy%26#39;s is on 34th Street and has a lot of shops around it and then there%26#39;s 5th avenue from central park down. If you want to be in the centre look at Radio City Apartments (www.radiocityapartments.com) or the travel inn (www.thetravelinnhotel.com) - other people may have budget suggestions for nearer the shops.

That said I liked being out of the hussle and bussle of it all it was nice to go into a more quieter area after a day shopping and site-seeing!
