Hello,
Thanks to everyone who replied about where i could see snow in NYC and surrounding areas. I%26#39;m finalizing details on my trip and the one and only time i was in NYC i flew into LaGuardia (on my friends recommendation) and took a cab to my friend%26#39;s apartment in the Upper West Side. This time i%26#39;ll be staying in Midtown, and was wondering which airport to fly into. Flying into NJ throws me off since i%26#39;m going to NYC but i hear its not that far. Can anyone tell me about how much i should expect to pay if i take a taxi from either of these airports into Midtown, if i can take the subway from JFK or LaGuardia into Midtown, or if shuttle services will drop me off at my hotel or just at a certain location where i will need to find extra transportation to my hotel? Thank you! Merry Chrismas!
Which airport Newark, JFK, or LaGuardia?
La Guardia is the closest to Manhattan. JFK and Newark are about equal distance from the city. A cab from la Guardia is about $25-35. From JFK $45 plus toll and tip, from Newark also about $45-50 but more tolls. Newark and JFK have train and bus options.
Here%26#39;s a website for transport options from JFK and there are links on the left for same info for other airports.

I%26#39;d pick the best flights. I don%26#39;t think you can beat Jet Blue for comfort, price etc. from LA.
Which airport Newark, JFK, or LaGuardia?
I like flying into Newark. There%26#39;s a good private bus service, Olympia Trails, from all the terminals to midtown stops. I take the bus either to Penn Station or Grand Central. If you google ';Olympia Trails,'; you can see the schedules, fares, etc. There are several options for transport, but the Olympia Trails bus is the easiest at less than half the cost of a taxi.
the Port Authority of NY/NJ which runs the airports has an excellent website with information about ALL the transport options

most of the questions that people aks here are answered there
that%26#39;s the website nywhiz posted
I`m taking Jet Blue, the best, from SFO to LGA they also have buses, no train as far as I know but it is the least exlensive overalllll and the closest.
