Newark from the Village

I will be in NYC during March and will be departing from the Newark airport early on a Sunday morning (flight leaves at 7AM). We will be using a car service. About how much time should I allow to get to there? Would it better to fly out of Kennedy? How long to get there? I%26#39;ve already got the plane tix but I could change them if there%26#39;s a big difference. Also what kind of tip for car service driver? Thanks in advance.

An hour should be enough time to allow to get to Newark on a Sunday morning. But check with your airline how long before flight time they require check in. Newark vs. JFK is about the same distance. Usually tip 15-20% of the fare. So for a $50 fare, tip $7-10. There will also be tolls on that route.
