My husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary in February and we want to have dinner in the most romantic restaurants in Lake Placid. What are the reviews for Veranda, Interlanken inn and Golf Club House. Any other suggestions?

The two best restaurants in the Lake Placid area are Lake Placid Lodge restaurant and the restaurant at the Inn on Mirror Lake. Both have websites where you can check out the menu. I have eaten at both and they are great. Cost for Inn on Mirror Lake for two will be between $130-$180. For Lake Placid Lodge, expect more (depending on the seasonal menu); range propable $150-$250.
