Strike Over

Just heard the Executive Board voted to return to work while negotiations continue.

It was not unanimous!

36 yes

5 no

2 abstentions

Strike Over

Keep in mind, though, that it will take a while to get everyone back to work, the equipment positioned, the money back in the booths, etc. -- I would not expect to see trains running much before 4 AM on Friday.

Strike Over

Yes, that is true.

I would imagine that the buses will be up %26amp; running faster, don%26#39;t you think?

My office decided yesterday to close on Friday(since we are all off next week anyway). Looks like I am getting a freebie day!!!

Mazel tov!

I%26#39;m very jealous. And my feet are very sore!

how do I love thee, little Q train

let me count the ways...

Does anybody know if the 6 train will be running by 7am tomorrow, i haven%26#39;t been able to catch the news about what services will be ready by then...thank you all

I was just watching the late news and it sounds like all the lines are supposed to start running around midnight. Assuming that%26#39;s true, the 6 should certainly be running at that hour.

ok thank you. I%26#39;ll leave early just in case.

Trains, glorious trains!

I never thought I would love the subway so much...

called in sick to work yesterday because I got up and didn%26#39;t feel well, and just could not face the thought of walking AGAIN....

Today I am happily at my desk...

the 6 train was actually running before midnight last night...

';Today I am happily at my desk...';

I love the trains, too, and I%26#39;m glad that this seems to be working out, but I don%26#39;t think I could EVER say that!

;o)

p.s. we got a freebie day today, too! yay! Time for more shopping!
