Suggestions for New Years Day brunch?

I hope I%26#39;m saying this correctly. We will be close to 71st (west side) about a block in 1/2 from the park. Would love to be able to walk somewhere near New Years Day for a great breakfast/lunch. Any suggestions?

Depends on how you define ';great.'; Posh or informal? Isabella%26#39;s is a popular place in the neighborhood for brunch. (77 st). Vince %26amp; %26#39;Eddy%26#39;s on 68th, Nick %26amp; Toni%26#39;s on 67th st. Compass is 73 st. Cafe Luxembourg would be good.

If you want something formal and fancy, Cafe des Artistes may have a special NY day lunch. Asiate is the Mandarin Oriental wouldn%26#39;t be far. The Boat House in Central Park would also not be too far (or Tavern on the Green for that matter).
