Fittingly for this thread, the phone rang with a wrong number and woke me up.

(drunken guys from Florida looking for some girl in NYC. Oy. Uh, boys? I think she may not have given you her real phone number. Just a guess.)

Most of the pay phones in Manhattan these days are 50 cents.

And they often are out of order. Virtually everyone has a cell phone. So much so that most of us probably don%26#39;t know how much a pay phone call is. ;)

Well, the phones on 32 St off of 7th Ave work fine, and they cost 25 cents, but they are very smelly. Just used one last night (left the cell phone at home.).

What is this ';pay phone'; you speak of ? :)
