Has anyone used these new cards, You buy from a choice of $500 or $1000 doller cards which can be used in the states, they charge $2.50 per cash transaction, however if you lose the card you are covered and will have a replacement sent to your hotel in 24 hours?

American express atm card
We bought one of these cards at Thomas Cook in November when they were offering $250 free when you bought $2000. We used them in shops, restaurants and shows, they were accepted everywhere. We never used them at the ATM%26#39;s as we also took some cash and travellers cheques. We had money left on it when we came home and used a local travelex ATM we got a great rate and were not charged for using it.
