We are booked at the Hotel Carter. This is our first trip to New York. We are primarily going to see the ball drop. I realize from the post that the hotel is far from the best. However, can anyone tell if you can actually see the ball drop from the hotel.

First, you won%26#39;t be able to see the ball drop frm the hotel, sorry. Second, please don%26#39;t judge NYC by your stay at the Carter. It%26#39;s really not that bad of a city, it%26#39;s just your hotel.
