broadway tickets

Am not sure whether to buy tickets for our family of four in advance of our three day trip in Feb. Am interested in musicals but the prices seem very costly - is it better to wait until we get there - I wouldn%26#39;t want to spend hours queueing

Ah, the eternal dilemma....pay more to avoid risk and delays? Or risk availability and precious hours in the hopes of saving money?

Just proves the axiom that time is money, and money is time.

Flip a coin. It will reveal what you really want.

February is low season. I%26#39;d wait. Keep checking www.broadwaybox.com for discount codes. I wouldn%26#39;t pay full price for four tickets, that%26#39;s much too expensive!

Have you seen ';Billy Elliot'; in London? It%26#39;s incredible1

well, waiting until February won%26#39;t do any good if royster is interested in seeing WICKED or LION KING or SPAMALOT

buy now for popular shows

buy later for anything else

I am already starting to see discount codes for winter.

You can expect many discounts for February as part of the winter ';season of savings'; that is usually announced early in January. Sign up for alerts at broadwaybox.com to get the news in the mail.

On January 9, 2006, Phantom of the Opera will become the longest running musical in Broadway history. To celebrate, they are offering weekday orchestra and front mezzanine tickets for $50. Performances must be from January 10 to March 13, 2006 and tickets must be purchased by December 24, 2005. Call Telecharge at 212-239-6200 or visit broadwayoffers.com and mention code PHWIN39.

I%26#39;d wait until the date gets closer. February is traditionally a slow time of year and you should have little trouble getting seats to most shows.

You should try the TKTS booth on the day of the show to save 50%. Alternatively, if you%26#39;re willing to buy a package, you can log onto theatrespecials.com up to a week in advance and get dinner and a show for less than $70.

Check out broadwayboxoffice.com, theatermania.com, playbill.com for discount tickets.

Just got Sweet Charity tickets for $55.00 regularly $110.00 at the box office.

We used to queue at TKTS, this is a much more civilized alternative, plus you get some choice as to seating.

Give it a try, it is the way to go.

We went to the tickets booth in South Seaport street and walked right in. There was no queue at all and got tickets for the producers for $59 each. I think it would be worth your while talking a rip down there, there was loads of shows with availability at discounted prices.
