We will be in New York (first time) for 1 week and certainly want to visit Central Park.

But would you go on a saturday or sunday and why? or doesnt it matter on what day.

It really doesnt matter which day of the week that you go to Central park.there is always something going on.What matters more.It is obviously better to go on a fine day so have a little bit of flexibility in your plans.

The visit to Central park can be combined with a visit to the met or the Museum of natural history.Maybe even a little shopping on 5th ave.I feel it is a must do .
