Getting to and from LGA

We are arriving this Sunday(Christmas Day) and need to know how to get from LGA into the city(Renn. Hotel).

We arrive at 10am, thus the travel rule of having 4 people in the car is in effect. What do we take? Taxi?Airport Shuttle? Limo? What???

I%26#39;m worried too. We arrive Dec 23 and have four in our party but from LGA to times square could take hours in a cab since there is no flat rate I guess it is metered and will cost a fortune. We have a limo booked for our return on the 26th. I just hope this all ends soon!
