will be in midtown end of week for show and sightseeing. Looking for good diner or breakfast place and ';nice'; but kid-friendly spot for dinners
Midtown kid friendly resturantsI was just at Ellens Stardust Diner at the corner of Broadway @51st St. Lots of fun for the kids, ok food (not great but the kids love it), %26amp; reasonably priced.
Johns Pizza, 44th Street between 7th %26amp; 8th Avenue has great pizza in a beautiful, converted church space.
Mars 2112 - Broadway @50th Street - kids love it, food not great.
Jekyl %26amp; Hyde - 6th Avenue between 57th %26amp; 58th Street.
Virgils BBQ - 44th Street between 6th %26amp; Broadway.
Also in the Times Square Area - Planet Hollywood, ESPN Zone %26amp; Hard Rock Cafe.
These are all around the theatre district area. Do you also need recommendations in other neighborhoods? Let us know.

Midtown kid friendly resturantsI will second
Jekyll %26amp; Hyde, kids love it because it%26#39;s a theme restaurant (not really appropriate for small kids, say under 8) but of course the food is only so so.
Virgils BBQ. Great BBQ. very family friendly, not fancy.
Pasta D%26#39;Oro 7th Ave. We went there on first trip to NYC years ago. Moderate in quality and price. Very friendly, very good service. charge 1/2 price for anything on the menu in a kids portion. Tell them you are trying to make a show and they can have you in and out in a little over an hour.
