TOTR or ESB in day or night?

Hi,

I am coming to NYC in february and I plan to go up both the ESB and TOTR, but I am not sure which one to do during the day and which one during the night. Which would you reccommend?

I remember reading a thread (can%26#39;t find it now) but someone mentioned that the view of central park from one is a big black hole at night, so that was no good. Others have mentioned TOTR at sunset.

Which one should I do when?

We were in NY in November (and are going back in February cos we loved it so much)! We did ESB first thing - were there when they opened the doors and it was a great view, could see for miles and then we did TOTR the same day but at dusk - great view and the ESB was lit up in all its glory. Not much help I suppose but they are both really good and much of a muchness and the trip up the elevator to TOTR is brilliant - I won%26#39;t spoil the surprise.

I just returned from NY and did ESB at 9am - no lines at all, and brilliant, the audio tour (Tony from Brooklyn) was worth it too. I also did TOTR but at around 11pm, again no lines at all, the views are spectacular and would recommend doing both and in the order and times I did them. I had the 2-4-1 voucher from Saral (?) on here for TOTR so it was excellent value. Hope you enjoy!

So you just print out the email and its ok to use?

a group of girls went to the esb at around 800pm and had a very short wait and the views at night were awsome.

Yes Aussie Chick20, just print the email and hand it over. When I did, the cashier did not even read it, it looked like she saw hundreds of them during the day!
