Not a word about the MTA strike

Read the NY Times, front to back today (I don%26#39;t live in NY so I get a regional edition) nothing about the strike; any word in the dailies?

Not a word about the MTA strike

Watching Channel 4 news (NYC NBC affiliate) the union and management have gone back to the table, negotiations, that is, in hope of averting a strike that is still scheduled for 12:01 AM Tuesday.

That was a noontime or so brief.

Hope this helps!

Poppa

the latest update - 2 Queens line buses are on strike and the rest of the buses and subways at midnight, unless a deal is reached. it doesn%26#39;t look good though.

Thanks so much for all who have replied; I saw the news today, does not look good....

waso looking forward to paying only $7 from midtown to JFK!!

FYI, although you may not be able to take the city subway and/or city buses to the airports, the coach service that operates between midtown (GCT, Penn Station, etc.), LGA and JFK is privately operated and to the best of my knowledge should be operating during any strike by city transit workers (unless, of course, their bus drivers go off the job in sympathy with city workers, which I%26#39;m not inclined to think is likely). Fares on this coach service vary but are roughly $15.

thanks so much...I had begun to get info on that as a back-up
